Oto-Rhino-Laryngology, commonly known as ENT (Ear, Nose, and Throat), encompasses studying and treating conditions affecting these areas. It is alternatively referred to as Head and Neck Surgery or Otorhinolaryngology.
The Department of ENT at the School of Medical Sciences, Sri Satya Sai University of Technology and Medical Sciences, is dedicated to evaluating and managing various diseases. This includes conditions of the Ear, such as ear infections, hearing loss, and ear injuries; diseases of the Nose and sinuses, including acute sinusitis, chronic sinusitis, nasal polyps, and nasal bleeding; diseases of the Throat, such as tonsils and adenoid infections, voice/speech problems, and swallowing disorders; as well as cancers of the head and neck.
